emotion in the ocean
Originals by Zara Akmalova
Born in 1997, Zara studied acting and worked in the movie industry. Realizing that creativity couldn’t be fully express through someone else’s script, painting became the perfect medium for expression.
Finding freedom on a blank canvas, she could translate her thoughts, emotions, and ideas into something visual — something honest. Each painting is like a moment captured from the inner world, a way to tell a story without words.
Her original technique starts with a mix of acrylic colors background that she creates in the moment — she lets go and goes with the flow. From that intuitive base, the full image begins to appear, always based on current moment .
You can often sense that energy in her work.
Zara lives between Italy, the Bahamas, and Australia. She travels a lot, each place bringing something different into her art — a new inspiration , a new color, a new rhythm. That’s why every piece is one-of-a-kind. Nothing is planned. It’s all alive.
Through her work, Zara wants to give a face to her generation — a generation of free individuals, full of contrast, carrying beauty and complexity in the world where everyone stands alone .

She merges with the flowing waters not to fight them, but to return to herself — finding quiet harmony in the place where her spirit and the world finally move as one.
